This is one of the Palestinian shops in Hebron closed down by the IDF, under the duress of the Jewish settlers living in Hebron. Approximately 200 Palestinian shops have been closed down by the IDF since the second Intifada in 2001, under the pretence of “security reasons”. Many of the closed down shops have a Star of David painted across it-reminiscent of a darker day in history.
